Muhammad Al-Najjar: Creating ideal climates for carrying out work is our most important task

Attracting qualitative global efforts to the fields of work and directing investment in natural resources and implementing productive and service projects represent the most important next steps that must be adopted by the concerned authorities, in order to actually work on sustainable development and create an integrated economy by employing local and international efforts in the service of the economy and all sectors.
Executive Director of the Iraq Fund for Development, Muhammad Al-Najjar, said: Creating attractive investment climates represents one of the most important axes that we are working on in order to change the reality of economic performance in the country and move it to a better stage.
Al-Najjar added, “We are fully aware that Iraq needs a large volume of work, which requires a large local and international effort to enter the national labor market, and this matter requires creating an ideal work environment that brings capital and advanced technology to work in Iraq.”
He pointed out that the government is aiming to support paths that enhance economic performance, as sectors that achieve multiple financial resources can be revived, and this is possible for a country like Iraq that has the elements for economic advancement.
Economist Walid Aidi Abdel Nabi described investment as important, as it contributes effectively to addressing the structural imbalances of the national economy, and that communication with the advanced global effort represents an important step that achieves integration to come up with goals that advance the national economy.
He stated that the world has made great strides in developing performance in a way that reduces time and effort, and we can benefit from these developments that can be used in various productive and service economic sectors, and adapting to its variables is necessary at this stage.
Abdel Nabi had explained that the objective and economic conditions for attracting foreign investments require that these investments be balanced and directed towards establishing industrial projects with great economic feasibility that achieve a real and sustainable multiplicity of resources.
He stressed setting priorities to serve the economy as a whole and not paying attention to a specific sector over another in order not to create duplication in the economy between an outward-looking sector and a backward sector linked to the inside.
In turn, the specialist in economic affairs, Aqeel Hamad Al Karam, stated that investing in Iraq’s geographical location on the world map by accelerating the construction of the large Al-Faw port and linking it to a railway network with other ports
represents an inevitable necessity.
He pointed out the necessity of inviting specialized international companies to manage these ports and provide services at an international level to achieve economic feasibility, as this important project contributes to facilitating commercial tasks between the poles of the Eastern and Western world, pointing out that this is one of the most important benefits of investments and their entry into the Iraqi market and various
productive and service sectors.
He stated that when investing in the geographical location of the country and activating industrial and agricultural investments in addition to the tourism sector, this leads to the creation of permanent and sustainable financial resources, and this matter is in harmony with the country’s need, capabilities and wealth.
