The Iraqi Parliament is scheduled to discuss several draft laws on its agenda in two sessions next Monday and Tuesday.
According to a document published by the Parliament's Media Department, the House of Representatives will vote in its 18th session scheduled to be held the day after tomorrow, Monday (mid-April), on the draft law on the first amendment to the law on the care of people with disabilities and special needs, and on the proposed law on the first amendment to the anti-prostitution law, and will discuss a proposed law. The third amendment to the law on compensation for those affected who lost part of their bodies as a result of the practices of the former regime. The session will also include the first reading of the draft law on returning real estate to its owners, which is covered by some decisions of the dissolved Revolutionary Command Council, and the first reading of the proposed law on the second amendment to the Law on the Institution of Political Prisoners.
In Tuesday's session, Parliament will vote, according to the agenda, on the draft law on the first amendment to the Royal Claims Authority Law and will also vote on the draft law on the first amendment to the Iraqi Housing Fund Law. Tuesday's session will also include the first reading of the draft law on the Republic of Iraq's access to the Convention on the Elimination of Violence and Harassment in the World. Work: The session also includes a report and discussion of the draft law regulating renewable energy.[/rtl]
