The Security Media Cell confirmed, on Wednesday, that there are no security challenges to the implementation of investment projects in the country, noting that Iraq has risen to advanced levels in security, economy, and investment.
The head of the Security Media Cell, Major General Tahseen Al-Khafaji, said in a statement reported by the official news agency, and seen by Al-Eqtisad News, that “the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, has a complete vision of the country’s security situation through joint coordination between the Joint Operations Command and his office.” In light of the security vision, final decisions and positions regarding the area to be invested are adopted.”
He added, "The duty of the security forces is to create a state of stability throughout the country, protect the work of investors, and the positive security image has contributed to increasing investment opportunities in Iraq and no security challenges to the implementation of projects."
He continued, "There is no dangerous or difficult-to-reach area in Iraq, or significant challenges to establishing any project," pointing out that "Iraq has risen to advanced levels in security, economy, and investment."
He pointed out that "many investments are currently being implemented in the liberated areas, and there is no security threat."
He added, "The duty of the security forces is to create a state of stability throughout the country, protect the work of investors, and the positive security image has contributed to increasing investment opportunities in Iraq and no security challenges to the implementation of projects."
He continued, "There is no dangerous or difficult-to-reach area in Iraq, or significant challenges to establishing any project," pointing out that "Iraq has risen to advanced levels in security, economy, and investment."
