The official supervising the Iranian trade advisory in Baghdad, Farzad Biltan, revealed that his country's exports to Iraq exceeded three billion dollars during the current year.
"Iranian goods exports to Iraq have increased by 27 percent in the past three months, compared to the same period last year," Belton said in a statement carried by IRNA.
He added, "The most important goods sent to Iraq are natural gas, iron and steel bars, fresh apples, and iron and steel ingots."
The supervisor of the commercial advisory office in Baghdad pointed out that, “according to statistics from the Iranian Customs Department, the value of exports reached 3 billion dollars, indicating a growth of 27 percent compared to the same period last year, when the value of exports at that time reached 2 billion and 346 million dollars.”
