The official spokesman for the Ministry of Higher Education, Dr. Haider Al-Aboudi, announced the ministry's intention to establish a college for artificial intelligence in a number of Iraqi universities.
Al-Aboudi said in a televised interview followed by "Al-Eqtisad News" that the Ministry of Higher Education, in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning and the Ministerial Council for Development, and through reading the needs of the labor market and the development index, reached the approval of new specializations that determine the future of graduates, including artificial intelligence, noting that the ministry has an important direction at the level of departments within the faculties of engineering and computer science to introduce artificial intelligence in them.
He added that the ministry is heading to establish a college for artificial intelligence in a number of universities, after providing the logistical foundations of advanced buildings and laboratories.
