Member of the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture, Water and Marshes, Rafiq Al-Salihi, warned today, Saturday, of the continued deterioration of the water crisis, noting that the water crisis with Turkey is still ongoing.
Al-Salihi told /Al-Maalouma/ agency that "the residents of the center and south are suffering from water scarcity and low water releases, which requires Iraqi action against Turkey."
He added, "There is a real danger to citizens due to water scarcity."
He stressed the need to "pressure Ankara to avoid the dangerous turn that has hit the central and southern regions." End / 25H
