Parliament follows up on the completion of stalled projects

The Parliamentary Reconstruction and Services Committee formed subcommittees to follow up on the completion of stalled projects and remove the obstacles they face, with a semi-monthly report.
Committee member Haider Shihan told Al-Sabah, “There are large allocations for projects that have been allocated to serve citizens, including sewage projects, municipal works, and infrastructure in all governorates.”
He explained that "the aim of the projects is to fill the gap in terms of services to serve citizens, as most governorates suffered from a shortage in infrastructure."
He added that "the Services and Reconstruction Committee directed the formation of sub-committees headed by its representatives to address stalled projects with contracting parties. An agreement was also reached with the relevant institutions to submit a detailed bi-monthly report to follow up on the completion of projects and remove the obstacles they face."
