     Information/ Diyala...
Diyala Council Chairman Omar Al-Karwi revealed, on Tuesday, the first decisions of the provincial council.
Al-Karwi said in an interview with / Al-Maalouma /, that "Diyala Council is serious about implementing all its powers in order to protect public money and deal positively with the procedures that prevent any violations in the reconstruction and services files."
He added that "the council decided to form a committee of its members to audit all projects from February 5th to August 1st, and also decided to stop all projects and forms of spending starting from August 1st." He pointed
out that "the decision entered into force in order to create the principle of transparency in dealing with the projects file in a way that ensures determining their paths for the next stage." It is
noteworthy that Diyala Council held its first session the day before yesterday in Baquba, awaiting the decision to form its main committees. End 25 F
