    As part of the ongoing efforts to improve the level of services provided to citizens, Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani announced today, Thursday, October 17, 2024, the launch of the (Ronaki) project, which aims to provide electricity around the clock throughout the region.[/size]
    [size=45]This announcement came during an inspection tour conducted by the Prime Minister in the Shadi neighborhood in Erbil, where he closely followed the results of the pilot phase of the project.[/size]
    [size=45]During his tour of the neighborhood that was chosen three months ago as a pilot model, the Prime Minister praised the positive results achieved so far, saying: “Today we visited many homes and shops in the Shadi neighborhood, and we noticed great satisfaction from the citizens and shop owners regarding the continuous supply of electricity around the clock.”[/size]
    [size=45]The Prime Minister added that the second phase of the project will begin tomorrow morning, where the Naznaz neighborhood will be provided with electricity 24 hours a day, followed by the Bakhtiari neighborhood. He explained that the project will gradually expand to include all neighborhoods, with the aim of providing electricity 24 hours a day throughout the region by the end of 2026.[/size]
    [size=45]In addition to Erbil, the Ronaki project will cover all regions, cities and governorates of the Kurdistan Region. Several neighborhoods in Sulaymaniyah and Duhok have already been identified to start implementing the project, and local authorities have been directed to fully cooperate and take the necessary measures to ensure the success of the project and expand its scope to include all parts of the region.[/size]
