Member of the Strategic Planning and Federal Service Committee, Amer Abdul Jabbar, criticized today, Sunday, the disruption of the oversight aspect of the government due to the dominance of the major parties in the House of Representatives.
Abdul Jabbar told Al-Maalouma Agency, "The file of hosting and interrogations is subject to the dominance and control of the major parties within the House of Representatives."
He added, "There is a limitation on the role of the MP in following up and monitoring the government's performance, noting that there is a lack of cooperation from the government with independent MPs within Parliament."
He pointed out that "the file of hosting and interrogations is limited to the major political forces and their representatives inside parliament, stressing that most independent representatives cannot interrogate any minister in Al-Sudani's government." End / 25 H
