    General Company for Land Transport of the Ministry of Transport announced on Thursday, for approval of the Cabinet on its accession to international organizations and conventions, to facilitate their work and support the national economy, while denied the stoppage of the transfer of the ration card items.
    The general director of transport company wild Abbas Omran Musa, said in a statement seen by the agency of our economy news, "The Council of Ministers approved the company's proposal to join international organizations and conventions on road transport, including the United International Transportation Nations Convention (TIR) ​​and the International Road Transport Union ( IRU) to improve their work, "noting that" the company has formed a committee of agencies and ministries concerned, Caldakhlah and Construction and Housing and the Central Agency for Standardization and quality control, to put so special arrangements, has raised its recommendations the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. "
    Moussa added, that "Iraq in general and the company in particular, would benefit from joining those international conventions, they allow carriers company transfer payloads to various countries around the world and reduce the suffering and the mechanism of the financial calculation at border crossing points and customs and other", noting that "many of the neighboring countries such as Syria and Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, Iran, Turkey Organization to those conventions and taking advantage of the benefits of that. "
    He explained the Director-General, that "joining the international conventions that will contribute to the support of the national economy as well as to build bridges with the Arab States and the world."
