    [rtl]Revealed the Department of Environment in Babil province, on Saturday, the arrival of a letter from the Council of Ministers directed to "wait" to impose legal action against mobile phone companies on the towers "violation of environmental conditions", and confirmed not having data on the number of mobile phone towers base because of lack of cooperation from companies , and as pointed out that all the radio towers in the province, "did not get the environmental approvals," with the exception of the Iraqi Media Network, described the environmental situation in the province as "good and is below the level of ambition".[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The director of Babylon environment Abbas Khudair Abbas said in an interview to the (long-Presse), "The environmental situation in Babylon is well below the level of ambition and the need to be serious and strong stance from the local government and the citizen," and urged everyone "in cooperation with the environmental departments to raise the environmental reality level in the province ".[/rtl]
    He Khudair, that "Babylon suffers from significant environmental challenges back for decades, including waste and air pollution, files, and the presence of the massacres of poor outside environmental determinants, in addition to the problems of desertification and the destruction of agricultural lands and the problem of the Shatt al-Hilla, which is the only river that poured by heavy water, as well as the Jewish River, which runs through the the city of Hilla, which turned into a garbage dump. "
    The manager of Babylon environment, that "the province experiencing problems in the landfill in various parts of the province and the lack of a laboratory for the recycling of waste," invited "to take government action and the development of real-time environmental plans and other long-term to change the environmental situation in the province for the better."
    Khudair and pointed out that "mobile phone towers spread in the province at random and without obtaining environmental approvals," pointing out that "the department does not have data on the number of towers to maintain the existing rule, because of the lack of cooperation by mobile phone companies."
    He revealed Khudair, for "the arrival of a letter from the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to wait to impose legal action against mobile phone companies towers on the offense," asserting that "all radio towers in the province holds a non-environmental approvals, with the exception of the Iraqi Media Network Towers."
    The House of protecting and improving the environment in the province of Babylon recommended, (23 December 2015), to compel sewer Directorate to expedite the completion of designs wastewater and sewage treatment plant in the Hashemite Justice (25 km south of the province), which called for the need to take the decisions necessary to promote the reality and environmental health in the province.
