Keeping president’s posts vacant not for Iraqi interest, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Nada al-Jobouri, of the National Dialogue Front headed by the Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, stated that keeping the president’s post vacant is not for the interest of Iraq.
She stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “Talabani is the center of balance among all the Iraqi political blocs during all the crises,” wishing him “The quickest health recovery.”
“The current situation is critical and keeping Talabani’s post vacant is not for the interest of Iraq,” she added, noting that “Replacing Talabani might be done by political deals.”
