Legal Committee of the House of Representatives confirmed, Sunday, Ebadi received amendments to the General Amnesty Law, indicating that the amendments relate to the fourth and eighth articles of the law.
The committee member said Salim Chawki said that "the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi Send Amendment fourth and eighth articles of the General Amnesty Law to the Legal Committee," noting that "the proposed amendment will be treated as law, where it will be read first reading and a second and then voted on by the parliament."
It is noted that Ebadi criticized the earlier amendments added by the House of Representatives on the general amnesty recently passed law.
