Moscow-Iraq Press -24 December: Russian President Vladimir Putin said, at dawn on Saturday, said he does not care about the plans of US President - elect Donald Trump to strengthen thenuclear arsenal of the United States, pointing out that the US military is the strongest in the world, not Russian.
Speaking at his annual news conference in Moscow , Putin said that comments he made earlier on the development of the Russian armed forces were misunderstood in the United States and that he acknowledges that the US military is the strongest in the world and not the Russian army.
Putin said on Thursday that the Russian army " is stronger than any potential aggressor."
Later , Trump said in a tweet on Twitter: " The United States should be strengthened and expanded on a large scale nuclear capability until such time when the world is back to his senses with respect to nuclear weapons."
