    revealed the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, on Wednesday, for thelatter directed all ministries to erect systems of solar energy, noting that this directive comes to rationalizing the consumption of electric power. 

    The General Secretariat of the Council in a statement issued today, received Alsumaria News, a copy of which, " The Board directed the ministries all erected systems to generate electricity from solar energy, through coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Minerals / public Zora company so that these systems operate in the daytime only according to the need of the relevant department or part of their need, assigning the ministry mentioned the lifting of periodic reports to the prime minister 's office for decades , which is made for this purpose. "




    She said the Secretariat, to "cram Bwazzrat comes to rationalizing the consumption of electric power after an earlier decision of the Board is to reduce consumption in the ministries to 50% of consumption at the time, and in all facilities during the summer period for the purpose of improving the service provided to the citizens." 

    It continued the General Secretariat of the Council, that " the Council had already decided that the Ministry of Industry and Minerals to submit a periodic report to the Prime Minister on the ministries consumption of electric power, and previously also the council decided to authorize the Energy Commission authority to grant business in the rehabilitation of networks exception and all that that entails in addition to the subject of the collection of money power. " 

    She drew the Secretariat recalled that "through what is provided by the Ministry of Electricity of the report to the Prime Minister for the report on power consumption during the summer of 2016, it became clear that the rate of consumption and to respond to the rationalization of the ministries between the great response is weak and the other." 

    The Secretariat noted that "these decisions come from the Council of Ministers in order to rationalize electricity consumption and the use of solar energy as an alternative to a successful, and effective utilization of improving the service provided to the citizens in the next summer." 

    It is said that Baghdad and the provinces are suffering from a lack of hours of electricity processed, while the Ministry of Electricity and attributes the weakness of its potential to increase the hours of processing to the weakness of the general budget of the country as well as security challenges in some areas.
