    Revealed the Ministry of State for Provincial Affairs, on Tuesday, a new draft law for the creation of new provinces be a substitute for the Act to amend the administrative border of the provinces, saying that if the law would end the dispute began on the administrative borders of some districts and sub-districts.

    The Minister of State for Provincial Affairs طورهان Mufti in an interview to (range Press) "We in the Ministry of State for Provincial Affairs we launched a legitimate alternative to a draft law amending the administrative boundaries of the provinces that now exists in the House of Representatives, a draft law for the development of new provinces," explaining that "the draft law under study. "

    Mufti pointed out that "the establishment of new provinces will end the dispute over the borders of some provinces, while modify the administrative border of the provinces will lead to a dispute about the limits of some provinces, as well as a scattering of some provinces."

    The Minister of State for Provincial Affairs that "The ministry sent the draft to the House of Representatives for the purpose of legislation in the coming period."

    It is noteworthy that President Jalal Talabani gave, in 2012, proposed law on the abolition of unfair changes to the administrative boundaries of the provinces and districts and sub-districts, based on what passed the House in accordance with the provisions of the first item of Article 61, Section III of Article 73 of the Constitution.

    The law includes in its first article, the abolition of the decrees and decisions all and any other legislation was the former regime had issued in order to achieve its political objectives and included changes to unfair manipulation of the administrative boundaries of the provinces and districts and areas throughout the Republic of Iraq all, while including Article II should implement this law from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

    If it were law enforcement, many of the provinces covered by the law will lose large tracts large territory in particular, Salahuddin province, which did not exist before 1968 and formed the decision of the regime of Saddam Hussein early seventies of the last century, after the annexation of some districts and respects them from the provinces of Baghdad, Kirkuk , while the second article includes this law should be implemented from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
