    imo the cards has apurpose...to reduce the cash in hands of iraqi peopl and to make the deletion of the zeros from the accounting system easier.....if a family has 500 thous. on the card after the rv and deletion of the zeros will have 500 dolars with an increased power purchase...

    I agree the article mentions this will not be enough to buy materials unless the money is worth more.:)
