Housing Fund suspends receipt of new transactions for depletion of allocations (CBI)

    03/08/2017

The Housing Fund announced on Thursday that it was suspending the receipt of new transactions to reduce the allocations, adding that it was committed to paying all payments to the borrowers who completed their transactions.

The fund said in a statement, followed by "Trend Press" that "stopped the acceptance and receipt of new transactions on loans to the depletion of financial allocations within the initiative of the Central Bank of Iraq."

"He will be committed to paying all payments to borrowers who have completed their transactions," he said.

Iraq is suffering from a severe housing crisis due to the increasing population of Iraq in comparison with the number of residential complexes and units. In addition, the low income citizen is unable to build his own housing unit due to the high cost of land and construction materials.
