     Babylon / Iqbal Mohammed

Dozens of professors from the University of Babylon protested against the Social Security Law, which was set up by the Council of Ministers, and considered the unification of pensions as "unfair" to them, threatening to resort to emigration outside Iraq.
"The atmosphere of democracy that Iraq is going through after 2003 has allowed us to organize rallies and demonstrations for the purpose of expressing opinion and protest, and we stood today to demand that the law of university service and the allocation of land to teachers should not be affected," said the assistant president of the University of Babylon for scientific affairs Qahtan Hadi Hussein al-Jubouri.
Jubouri said that "Iraqi universities are working for Iraq and its construction in various fields through experts, scientists and research." Jubouri pointed out that "Iraqi universities include professors and senior scientists in all disciplines and it was better to introduce the law to them to express
    opinion."
The Dean of the Faculty of Basic Education at the University of Babylon, Mohammed Shaker al-Rubaie of the "range", "The law of social insurance take away the rights of the professor and abolish the law of university service in force now," adding that "this law is very dangerous to the Iraqis, but more dangerous than the people And we demand that it be revoked. "
Al-Rubaie revealed that "this law will empty the Iraqi universities of competencies and scientists and invites them to emigrate from Iraq."
"The new social insurance law is unfair and unfair because it excludes high and special grades and the three presidencies," said a member of the board of Babel Rahim al-Hasnawi University. He called for repealing the law. "It harms retirees in general and university professors in particular. The Council of Ministers invited experienced experts from outside the Ministry of Finance to study the law and express opinion. "
For his part, said Numan al-Khazraji teaching at the University of Babylon, in an interview for "the extent", "The law of social insurance fighting university professors with an important chapter is the financial aspect and the retirement of the university professor is a right and can not be overrun because it is a red line."
"Khazraji added that" the law is unfair to university professors and officials of the state departments and demand the House of Representatives not to ratify it. "
This is the employee's rejection of the cream of the law and considered him as his predecessor of "unfair laws that did not do justice to state employees, only the employee is unjust and can not speak." "The social insurance law will be the biggest financial and economic disaster since 2003 facing retirees and employees," Karim said in an interview with Al-Mada.
