Planning damage counts in 7 liberated governorates

The Ministry of Planning announced yesterday the completion of the damage inventory in seven liberated governorates, stressing that the operation took only 10 days. "The ministry has completed the survey of damage and needs assessment in the liberated governorates affected by the terrorist acts, which are seven provinces including Salah al-Din, Anbar, Ninewa, Diyala, Kirkuk, Baghdad and Babylon," said the official spokesman of the Ministry of Planning Abdul-Zahra al-Hindawi. "The implementation of this survey came at the request of the ministry by the Council of Ministers to accomplish this task." He added that "the document of the National Framework for Reconstruction and Development of the provinces affected by the terrorist operations and the war prepared by the Ministry for the years 2018-2027 had approved a survey of damage in order to facilitate the process of directing funds and identify projects to be implemented in those areas according to the size of damage in each region" .
