    Follow-up / Sky Press:

Iran's nuclear energy chief, Ali Akbar Salehi, warned the United States to return to uranium enrichment from the nuclear reactor at a high rate, accusing Washington of working to force Tehran to withdraw from the nuclear deal.

"The United States will force us to return to uranium enrichment at a high rate of 20 percent within four days and it (America) is struggling to force Iran to withdraw from the nuclear deal," Salhi said in a television interview broadcast late on Saturday.

Salhi said that Washington is looking for any pretext to push Iran to withdraw, noting that "his country will deal intelligently with the American positions and actions against Iran."

The Iranian official revealed the existence of several different scenarios in his country, and said that "among these scenarios is to return to enrich uranium in the entire reactor by 20% in just four days."

Under the Vienna agreement, announced in July 2015, Iran has pledged that the enrichment rate will not exceed 3.67 percent.

Salhi pointed to the presence of 20 tons of heavy water in the Sultanate of Oman, noting that "many European companies told Tehran that they need heavy water, but the recent US pressure pushed companies to retreat."
