The Dhi Qar provincial council confirmed on Thursday that it received assurances from the Central Bank to allocate funds to borrowers from the Housing Fund of the province next year.
The head of the Economic Committee of the Council Rasheed Sarayevi said that the Council received assurances by telephone from the Central Bank of Iraq regarding the owners of housing fund loans in the province of Dhi Qar, pointing out that the bank allocated an amount to complete payments of loans for borrowers in the past years.
He added that the timing of the launch of the allocated amounts will be at the beginning of the new year 2018, while not disclosed the value of the amount allocated for release, indicating that it will include all the provinces covered by the initiative of the Central Bank of housing.
