    [ltr]Jordan's King Abdullah expressed fears Sunday over Washington's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and said the only solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict was the two-state solution.[/ltr]

    [ltr]King Abdullah II expressed fears that the US decision on Jerusalem would not be part of a comprehensive solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict[/ltr]
    [ltr]King Abdullah reiterated in remarks made during his talks with US Vice President Mike Bens in Amman that Jerusalem should be the capital of a future Palestinian state.[/ltr]
    [ltr]He reiterated the need to reach a two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians on the 1967 borders and that East Jerusalem be the capital of a Palestinian state and that it be recognized.[/ltr]
    [ltr]US Vice President Mike Bens told Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Saturday that the United States would support a two-state solution for Israelis and Palestinians if the two sides agreed in an effort to reassure a key Arab ally on President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital.[/ltr]
