    Baghdad - Iraq Press - February 5: The head of the bloc of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in the Iraqi parliament Areez Abdullah, that the Kurdish blocs decided to boycott the session of parliament held on Monday, because of the inclusion of the budget on the agenda because it is a great injustice against the Kurdistan Region, Noting that "our current decision not to participate and may be followed by the decision to boycott the political."


    Abdullah said in an interview, "We decided not to participate in today's session because of the inclusion of the budget on the agenda," adding that "we have already met Abadi to amend the draft budget, especially the paragraphs relating to the Kurdistan Region and so far did not take into account our observations and our constitutional rights."


    He pointed out that "we in the Kurdish blocs have decided to boycott the meetings of the budget, and there are significant pressures on the presidency of the Council by the federal government, and we are against the budget in this way because it has a lot of shortcomings and a great injustice to the Kurdistan Region."


    He pointed out that "the decline of the share of the region from 17% to 12% is a large Ghabna although the census was not conducted to know the real number of the population of the Kurdistan Region, but according to the figures of the Ministry of Planning, the proportion of the population of the Kurdistan Region is 14% Our current decision not to participate and perhaps followed by the decision to boycott the political. "


    Abdullah explained that "when the quorum is completed, the President requests a budget included in the agenda, and passing in this form to serve the common interests and the political process in Iraq, and to resolve the outstanding problems between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government."
