MP Faleh al-Khazali said that the parliament's presidency was not successful in running yesterday's session and bears responsibility.
He called in a statement, the government assurances to the oil-producing provinces not to appeal the budget law, noting that the difference to be given to Kurdistan of the budget must be given to the southern provinces.
He stressed that the budget must be passed 2018 because of the importance of the Iraqi people.
He continued: "We are going to approve the budget in the event of the Kurds came to the parliament session or not and the government is to change the date of local elections next and not parliament.
He said that some political blocs want to postpone the upcoming local elections, noting that the Iraqi people are demanding not to nominate dual nationals for the upcoming elections.
