    Shafaq News / The Iraqi Border Ports Authority has noted positives that may turn the crossing "Pervez Khan" into an official outlet, which links the border between the Kurdistan Region and Iran. 
    The director of operations and plans at the border crossings, Shaker Jubouri, told a news conference, "We have seen today on this region and we will prepare a special report to grow after it became the crossing to an official outlet." 
    He said that "the crossing has advantages, and includes key operating circles, but it needs to control the import permits and operations of origin and invoices." 
    "There are minor shortcomings that can be addressed in cooperation with the local government in order to show the implementation in a proper way, and to apply the crossing instructions and controls," Jubouri said.
    The region has five official and main border crossings with the three neighboring countries, Ibrahim Khalil, near the town of Zakho in Dohuk. It links Kurdistan to Turkey and is the main artery supplying the region with most of its needs, the Beshkabur crossing in the west of Dohuk, linking Iraq with Syria, Imran "with Iran and is located northeast of the province of Erbil, the crossing" Bashmakh "with Iran and is located near the town of Pinguin eastern Sulaymaniyah province, as well as the" Pervez Khan "with Iran also near the town of Kalar, south of Sulaymaniyah province.
