The Finance Committee of the House of Representatives announced its intention to discuss the waste of public funds in the election campaign by influential people in the State during the parliamentary session scheduled for Tuesday next week to take appropriate measures against them and bring them to justice.

"The Finance Committee will discuss the use of public funds in the election campaign by the influential in the state, in the session of the Council of Representatives to be held next Tuesday."

He added that "the Council will recommend to the Integrity Commission, the prosecution of those who waste public money, and refer them to the judiciary to follow the legal texts against them, in accordance with the law of the Criminal Court and the Penal Code, which punish this criminal act.

There are also a number of "influential" figures and political parties, who, according to observers, seek to maintain power in the country, as well as other charges related to exploiting the poor and the bad sectors through promises of services, housing and jobs.

Some 7,000 candidates are seeking to reach the House of Representatives, while the large political blocs seek to highlight new faces in their lists, in an attempt to harmonize with calls for change and reform of the political system in the country 15 years ago, which failed to put the country on track, after decades From "dictatorship, wars and deprivation".
