    [ltr]Follow up of Mawazine News[/ltr]
[ltr]French President Emmanuel Macaron said he expected his US counterpart Donald Trump to withdraw the United States from the nuclear deal with Iran, based on Trump's comments.[/ltr]
[ltr]But Macron said he did not know what Trump would decide on May 12.[/ltr]
[ltr]"I do not know the US decision, but the rational analysis of all President Trump's statements does not lead me to believe that he will do everything to stay in the agreement," McCron told a news conference.[/ltr]
[ltr]In a speech to members of the US Congress, the French president stressed that it is necessary to contain Iran's activities in Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Lebanon, stressing that Tehran "will never have nuclear weapons."[/ltr]
[ltr]Iran's influence and ballistic activities must be contained, he said, stressing the importance of Iran's policy not leading to war in the Middle East.[/ltr]
[ltr]As for the nuclear agreement with Iran, McCron said that "the goal is clear" and that Iran must never have any nuclear weapons.[/ltr]
[ltr]The French president said that the nuclear agreement "does not deal with all the important aspects," explaining that the agreement can not be eliminated.[/ltr]
[ltr]Members of the US Congress were greeted with applause for three minutes before he began delivering a speech that praised the history of friendship between the two countries.[/ltr]
