The Iraqi Airways Company announced on Wednesday that the number of flights during the month of May to 743 trips.
The Director General of the company Miran Farid said in a press statement received "Economy News" a copy of it, "The number of flights recorded by the national carrier at Baghdad International Airport during the period from 1/5/2018 to 31/5/2018 (743) trip, "The number of passengers reached (114,358) passengers distributed on departures number (56721) passengers, while the number of passengers coming (57637) passengers."
Farid added, "The achievement of this increase came through the excellent services provided by Iraqi Airways and continuously updated within the company's business plan supervised by the Minister of Transport Kazem Venjan Al-Hamami, which aims to provide all the needs of passengers, including electronic reservation services, As well as the competitive prices offered by the national carrier compared to other companies. "
"It is hoped that these rates will increase during the coming period in conjunction with the summer vacation and Eid al-Fitr and the start of the World Cup to be held in the Russian capital Moscow."
