    [ltr]The leader of the Sadrist movement, Moqtada al-Sadr, on Thursday, to form a committee to investigate the causes and circumstances of the explosion that shook Sadr City on Wednesday, while the Committee requested to report to him within a maximum of three days.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The Sadrist Information Office said in a statement received by Mawazine News that "Sadr thanks the people of Sadr City for the explosion that evening and strongly condemns the explosion."[/ltr]
    [ltr]Sadr, the people of Sadr City, called for "patience, restraint and an opportunity for enemies who are waiting for opportunities to overcome any improvement in the security or political situation in Iraq."[/ltr]
    [ltr]Sadr ordered, according to the statement, "to form a committee to find out the reasons that led to this explosion, and the circumstances surrounding the Committee to submit its report to him within a maximum of three days."[/ltr]
    [ltr]At least 10 civilians were killed and more than 90 injured in an explosion that shook Sadr City, east of Baghdad, on Wednesday.[/ltr]
    [ltr]A security source told Mawazine News that "two explosive devices exploded twice inside Hussainiya al-Hussein sector 10 in Sadr City, east of Baghdad."[/ltr]
    [ltr]Ambulances rushed to the scene of the terrorist bombing to take the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and bodies to forensic medicine, while a security force cordoned off the incident.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The Iraqi Interior Ministry confirmed the explosion in the Sadr City district of Baghdad, indicating that it resulted in the deaths and injuries without mentioning specific numbers.[/ltr]
    [ltr]A spokesman for the ministry said in a statement that the blast was a "terrorist" attack on civilians and caused the deaths of "martyrs" and injured.[/ltr]
    [ltr]While the Center for Security Information that the bombing of Sadr City is the result of a pile of equipment stockpiled in Husseiniya.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Sadr City residents gathered near the Imam Ali Hospital because of a severe shortage of medical staff. The Ministry of Health announced its efforts to transport and treat the wounded in the terrorist bombing that took place in Sadr City in Baghdad.[/ltr]
    [ltr]It is noteworthy that Baghdad enjoys relative security stability, as there has been a significant decrease in the past few months in the bombings and armed attacks, while security forces from time to time found unidentified bodies in different parts of the capital.[/ltr]
