    The parliamentary legal committee confirmed on Saturday that the session of tomorrow will witness the completion of the second reading of the fourth amendment to the electoral law to vote before the end of this month for the purpose of extending the life of parliament.
    "The decision of the last federal court gave the parliament the power to take decisions to preserve the electoral process," said Hamdiya al-Husseini, a member of the committee.
    She added that "the fourth amendment, which the parliament intends to proceed is to save the electoral process and there is no violation of the Constitution," noting that "the Committee will present the draft amendment to the fourth parliament during the session tomorrow to vote on the amendment before the thirtieth of this month."
    The House of Representatives has completed, on Friday, the first reading of the proposed law of the fourth amendment to the election law, while adjournment of the meeting to next Sunday.
