Parliamentary: Today's session will witness the passage of the Federal Court Act
On Thursday, the MP for the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Dylan Ghafour, suggested that today's parliament session will witness the passage of the Federal Court law. Ghafour said, "The dialogues between the parliamentary blocs and the Presidency of the Council of Representatives are continuing to resolve the remaining articles of the Federal Court bill." She added, "All efforts are directed towards completing the law and resolving differences between the parliamentary blocs and voting on the draft law of the Federal Court in today's afternoon session." Ghafour pointed out, to "the need to accelerate the approval of the Federal Court law because Iraq is going through a constitutional vacuum and there is a need to legislate the law because the Federal Court is the one that certifies the results of the upcoming elections."
