The House of Representatives passes through a crossroads today, either to succeed in passing the law extending the life of the parliamentary state, or to bow to the fact that the end of his constitutional life on Saturday.

A member of the legal committee Abdul Rahman al-Loizi ruled out a full quorum in today's session to approve the extension of the life of the parliamentary session.

"The House of Representatives is not in his interest to put himself in such a problematic, both on the political blocs as well as independent MPs who do not belong to parties."

He explained: "The parliamentary sessions during the first and second readings do not need a quorum, considering that the meeting continues, but the rules of procedure requires a quorum at the voting stage," noting that: "It is not expected to achieve a quorum in today's session devoted to pass this law amid large objections "He said.

He called on the lawmakers to respect the peaceful transfer of power and the constitutional terms of the work of the House of Representatives and to take into account the provisions of the Constitution, which states that the end of the current parliamentary session will be on Saturday.
