    Grant for the establishment of a training center for renewable energies

    The South Korean government, through the International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), a government institution, has donated $ 8 million to Iraq to set up a training center for renewable energies for the private and public sectors.

    The Ministry of Electricity in Iraq, in a statement, that a delegation from the agency "KOICA", discussed with specialists of the Department of Renewable Energies in the Ministry, during his two-day visit to Iraq mechanism to establish the center.

    She added in her statement that a site was selected at the headquarters of the Training and Development Department in the Waziriya area of the Ministry.

    She explained that the Korean Agency has undertaken to start the project in early 2020, to qualify the building and transfer equipment for training, and completion of the center end of 2022.
