The head of the Turkmen Front, MP Arshad Salhi, on Saturday, the handover of Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi, two projects to reform the political process, noting that Abdul Mahdi promised a fair component Turkmen in the next government.
"The Turkmen Front handed Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi two projects to reform the political process, one of which concerns the Turkmen component and its problems, and the other is to resolve the Iraqi crisis in general," Salhi said in a statement.
He added that "Abdul Mahdi's visit to the headquarters of the Turkmen Front is evidence of his interest in the Turkmen issue," noting that "he promised to equate the component during the formation of the next government."
"Abdul Mahdi assured us that the new political project will be comprehensive and seeks to reform and change in favor of citizens and strengthen security and economy," Salhi said. Ending / 25 d
