(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The Cabinet held its regular session on Tuesday, chaired by Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi.

The statement pointed out that "the vote was approved to grant the investment license for the project of hydrogenation unit and improve gasoline in the province of Kirkuk."
The Council of Ministers approved the amendment of paragraph {1} of the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 184 for the year 2018 to become the link of the executive body of the Basra water project in the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works and re-formation of specialists in coordination with them and other sectoral bodies in the field of water and water resources and the governorate Basra, and the implementation of the project above according to the controls and instructions and the terms and mechanisms of the British loan and in accordance with the relevant decisions of the Council of Ministers, and cancel paragraph (2) of the resolution above.
He added, "Also voted on water and sanitation projects in the province of Basra and allowed exemption from the instructions to implement government contracts."
The Council of Ministers voted on the draft amendment of the second law of the Union of Geologists No. (197) for the year 1968.
The statement pointed out that "the vote approving the draft law on ratification of the military and security cooperation agreement between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan signed in Amman on 5/8/2018 and transmitted to the House of Representatives, based on the provisions of Articles 61 / item I and 80 / II] of the Constitution ".
The Council of Ministers approved the Ministry of Health to grant maternity and nursing leave in coordination with the Nurses' Syndicate until the establishment of the Nursing Syndicate, based on the provisions of Article (1) of Article (93) of Public Health Law No. 89 of 1981.
