Shafaq News / Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi conducted a series of meetings with a number of ambassadors working in Baghdad each individually.
According to a statement by his office, the meetings dealt with developing bilateral relations and discussing issues of common concern. He reviewed the positive developments witnessed in Iraq and the Iraqi government's directions towards the reconstruction of the country and all governorates affected by terrorism and hindered opportunities for growth and seeking to build a system of joint relations with all sisterly and friendly countries to increase Cooperation and exchange of interests, strengthening security, stability and opportunities for economic prosperity.
The ambassadors stressed the support of their countries and governments to the Iraqi government and full readiness for cooperation and coordination and exchange of interests and meet the needs of Iraq in the process of construction and reconstruction.
Where the Prime Minister received in his official office today the Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdul Qader Bin Shuaa, the People's Republic of China Ambassador Sheng Weicheng, the Canadian Ambassador Robert Paul Jibart, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey Faleh Yildez and the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Sidi Ould Cheikh Ould Ahmed Aicha.
The ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Baghdad, Abdulaziz bin Khalid al-Shammari, received an official invitation from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Prime Minister to visit the Kingdom, which he promised to meet in due course.
