    The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hassan Karim al-Kaabi, called on Monday the Ministry of Youth to expedite the legal sending of clubs and sports federations to approve the Olympic Committee's law, stressing the need to support sports federations and ensure their financial and administrative independence.
    "The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives received Hassan Ali Karim, Chairman of the Committee of Experts to study the curricula of sports federations, to discuss the follow-up curricula and programs of sports federations and the need to provide funding to support its local and international activities."
    Al-Kaabi stressed on the need to support sports federations and ensure their financial and administrative independence, stressing that the necessary financial allocations for sports federations to implement their annual programs prepared according to scientific foundations in national and international entitlements.
    During the meeting, "stressed the determination on Tuesday, a date to discuss the approach of the Federation of football and the Union of Athletics for the purpose of payment of their dues, and set the next Wednesday to discuss the Fencing Federation and the Basketball Federation for the same purpose."
    Al-Kaabi called on "the concerned parties to expedite the allocation of the amounts needed by sports federations." He called on the Ministry of Youth and Sports to expedite the submission of two draft sports clubs and sports federations to the House of Representatives for approval.
