considered MP Alia Nassif, Thursday, the decision of Interior Minister Yassin al-Yasiri to dismiss the chief of the federal police, an important step towards achieving a number of reforms in the joints of the ministry.
"The Interior Minister's response to what we publish in the media will enhance cooperation between the executive and legislative branches," Nassif said in a statement received by Mawazine News.
She pointed out, "The dismissal of the Federal Police Chief is an achievement recorded in favor of the minister and a message to the rest of the holders of important positions in the Interior that the reform machine must reach the shorter or later."
The Minister of Interior issued yesterday an order to relieve the Federal Police Commander Raed Jawdat from his duties.
