The Council of Ministers makes a number of decisions concerning a position on Israel

[rtl]The Council of Ministers held its regular session on Tuesday, chaired by Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi.[/rtl]
[rtl]The Prime Minister reviewed the government's stance on the human rights file and the reports of the United Nations Office and the judicial and security authorities and the strict guidance to follow up the details of the report seriously, and clarify the state policy and government responsibilities to protect the right to peaceful protest and the rest of the rights of citizens to life, work, study, transport, secure private and public property The work of state institutions and the interests of citizens.[/rtl]
[rtl]The Council of Ministers discussed issues prepared for its agenda and issued several resolutions, including the approval of the draft law of accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Protocol of 2005 amending the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against the Safety of Maritime Navigation of 1988, which entered into force on 28/7/2010 and referred to the House of Representatives. And the decision to confirm the reservation of the Republic of Iraq that the signature, ratification or accession to the Convention referred to in no way means recognition of Israel or enter any relationship with it on the basis of the provisions of Article (21 / clause II) of the Law on the conclusion of treaties No. 35 of 2015.[/rtl]
[rtl]The Cabinet agreed to authorize the Minister of Transport to negotiate and sign a draft maritime transport agreement between the Government of Iraq and the Government of the State of Qatar, as amended by the Council of State, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to prepare the necessary authorization document on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Iraq to the Minister of Transport in accordance with the approved contexts.[/rtl]

[rtl]The Cabinet decided to approve the memorandum of the Legal Department / General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers on the amendment of investment licenses.[/rtl]
[rtl]The Council of Ministers authorized the Minister of Finance not to disburse the amounts specified in previous Cabinet decisions to allocate the emergency reserve for the purpose of securing the required amount for the National Intelligence Service.[/rtl]
[rtl]The Cabinet also approved a draft law ratifying an agreement to avoid double taxation with respect to income taxes and to prevent tax evasion between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, signed in Baghdad on 1/7/2019.[/rtl]
