Legal expert Ali al-Tamimi stressed that the removal of US forces from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] does not need a parliamentary review and is within the authority of the government.
Al-Tamimi said in a press statement, "The entry of American forces into [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] organized according to two different agreements, one of which is called the Strategic Agreement, and the second is the entry of American forces during the year 2014 to fight ISIS."
He added, "The removal of American forces does not require a parliamentary review, but rather requires a government request from the United States, and it will be activated according to an agreement."
