    [size=18]Government spokesman Saad Al-Hadithi announced Tuesday that the current government will continue its work until confidence is granted to the government of Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi.


    Al-Hadithi said in a statement to the official Al-Sabah newspaper, "The current government headed by Adel Abdul Mahdi continues to operate until the confidence in the parliament is granted to the new government headed by [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/3516613774/%D9%85%D8%AD%D9%85%D8%AF %D8%B9%D9%84%D8%A7%D9%88%D9%8A/ar/]Muhammad Allawi[/url] ."
     
    He continued, "All powers are transferred to the new government if confidence is granted to it by the House of Representatives and with full powers, after the acceptance of the resignation of Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi at the beginning of January 2019 to a government that is a daily business," he added. These include the powers to conclude foreign agreements and treaties and to send draft laws. ”
