{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The director of the Erbil branch of the Iraqi Central Bank revealed that the amount of the salaries of Kurdistan region employees has not been deposited in the account of the provincial government’s finance ministry until now.
Abid Mazuri, director of the central bank's Erbil branch, said in a press statement today, Monday, that there is no problem in the process of depositing the amount, but the Federal Ministry of Finance has not issued its decision to do so yet, noting that it is scheduled to deposit the amount of 453 billion dinars in the Ministry of Finance account in Territory.
For his part, a source in the Ministry of Finance affirmed the Kurdistan Regional Government, that if Baghdad deposited the amount in the account of the Ministry of Finance, then the finance will issue a schedule this week to pay the salaries of employees of all ministries.
