Kurdish MP: The government will not succeed without the participation of the Kurds and Sunnis
The deputy of the PUK bloc Hassan Ali confirmed that the new federal government headed by Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi will not succeed without the participation of the Kurds and Sunnis.
Eli said in a press statement: There are some parties that want to vote on the new federal government by a majority, which is very wrong.
He added: The House of Representatives has set tomorrow, Thursday, to vote on the new federal government, but there are still some parties that do not support voting on the government in Thursday's session. He explained: The new federal government will not succeed in its work without the participation of the Kurdish and Sunni parties, and I do not think that the Shiite parties will agree to vote by giving confidence to the government without the participation of the Kurds and Sunnis.
He pointed out that there are two possibilities that exist about forming a government, the first is that the political parties reach an agreement and pass the government unanimously within the parliament, and the second possibility is that the government passes a majority, and this is wrong.
