    (Baghdad: Al Furat News): The Veterinary Department announced a form of the Ministry of Agriculture that it agreed with the Canadian side to adhere to the veterinary health concepts set by the Veterinary Department in the field of dairy industry and its products intended for human consumption.
    The Director General of the Veterinary Department and the agency, Thamer Habib Hamzah, said in a statement that he received {Al Furat News} a copy of him that he “received at the department’s headquarters the commercial advisor at the Canadian Embassy in Baghdad and discussed issues related to the Canadian health certificate related to the dairy industry and its products.”
    The statement added that "the meeting dealt with various aspects of concern to the two countries in the field of animal health, as the meeting resulted in the approval of Canadian health certificates related to the dairy industry in accordance with the requirements of the Iraqi veterinary authority represented by the Veterinary Department after reviewing them and making technical notes on them."
    Hamza explained that "the meeting included many topics related to the veterinary health memorandum of understanding, as the two parties agreed to benefit from Canadian experiences in developing Iraqi veterinary health cadres in various veterinary specialties, as was the meeting that was attended by a number of officials of the relevant departments in the Veterinary Department to review the controls and conditions Established by the department in granting import and manufacturing licenses to investors in the dairy industry and its products.
    The statement concluded , "and confirmation is keen to invite local and foreign investors in the field of the dairy industry in accordance with the requirements of the Veterinary Department in order to preserve the safety of the citizens of Iraq and in furtherance of the national economy" .anthy
