The Sadrist movement in Iraq, led by Muqtada al-Sadr, commented, today, Thursday, on the assignment of Iraqi President Barham Salih to the head of the Iraqi Intelligence Service, Mustafa al-Kazemi, to form the new government.

The leader of the current, Governor of Zamili, said that "the Sadrist movement is with the national consensus, and it is with this mandate, that - Al-Kazemi - receives support from all political forces, with all its components."
And that "the Sadrist movement will support and vote on the Al-Kazemi government, if it presents competent and honest personalities, and we will refuse to pass any character on it with any indications."
On Thursday, Iraqi President Barham Salih commissioned the head of the Intelligence Agency, Mustafa al-Kazemi, to form the new Iraqi government, after Adnan al-Zorfi announced he was stepping down from this task.
Al-Kazemi has a 30-day deadline beginning April 9 to paralyze the new government that Muhammad Allawi and Adnan al-Zarfi failed.
