On Friday, the National Retirement Commission issued a clarification regarding a video clip showing a man complaining that he had paid 3,000 dinars for the end of his twenty-two years' end-of-service benefits.
The authority said in a statement, which received / information / a copy of it, that “a video spread on social media broadcasted by one of the TV channels, which shows a citizen complaining of spending the amount of three thousand dinars on the end of service compensation and that his services are twenty-two years according to his claim, has spread.”
She added, “This video does not pertain to the work of the commission. Rather, the citizen talks about a sum of money disbursed to him from the Babylon Education Directorate / Musayyib Education / affiliated to the Ministry of Education and not from retirement as the effective retirement law specifies the lowest pension with allocations five hundred thousand dinars and the amount of the amount of an equivalent amount is final The service is spent according to the last salary and allowances for those who have retired services twenty five years or more, and that life does not spend the sums of money and dues with deeds. ”End 25
