A close associate of the Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi disclosed the details of the process of dividing the ministerial portfolios according to the parliamentary seats, while indicating that every service and sovereign ministry would be matched by a certain number.
The source said to local media, that the division of ministerial portfolios in the forthcoming government of Prime Minister-designate Mustafa al-Kazimi will be in accordance with parliamentary seats, for each bloc and political party.
He added that each service ministry will have 6 parliamentary seats, while the sovereign ministry will have 12 parliamentary seats.
He added that the Prime Minister-designate would grant the Shiite blocs 11 ministries in his government, while he would grant the Sunni blocs 6 ministries, 3 ministries to the Kurdish blocs, one ministry to the Turkmen and one to the Christian component.
In the first comment of the Sunni component, a member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, MP Muhammad Karbouli, stressed that whoever does not improve the fair distribution of weights on the sides of the ship will not be a successful captain.
Al-Karbouli said in a tweet on Twitter that the big waves foreshadow the approaching storm and whoever does not improve the equitable distribution of weights on the sides of the ship will not be a successful lord.
