Member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Hussein Al-Uqabi, criticized, on Sunday, the government’s intention not to implement its promise regarding the issuance of a comprehensive economic reform law for the country, warning of catastrophic repercussions in case of continuing to violate the law.
"The government pledged to approve the economic reform paper and submit it to Parliament for approval during the vote on the internal and external borrowing law," Al-Oqabi said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah. For
he added that " the government and after 70 days of the adoption of the law of borrowing did not provide a single line or develop a plan to address the economic crisis by the pandemic Corona."
"The government continues to disavow and violate the law, and it has failed in the only challenge it came for, which is to pay employees' salaries, pass the budget, and end the economic crisis," Al-Oqabi said. End / 25 D.
